According to the CEFR, with the upper intermediate level the student

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

You will improve your grammar skills and will be offered many learning contents regarding verbs and phrasal syntax.

Let’s have a look together:

  • What are the elements of the passive sentence? How would you put the following sentence in the passive form: “María ha hecho la comida” (en. Maria has prepared something to eat)?
  • Which verbs are involved in the construction of the hypothetical period? Try to complete with the correct form of the verb “invitar”: “Si me encontrara dinero por la calle, te _____ al mejor restaurante” (en. If I found money on the street, I would invite you to the best restaurant)
